For over twelve years a group of men and women has held a weekly study of Talmud in the Shaarie Torah Synagogue library on Thursday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00pm. We are currently reading the tractate Bava Kamma about tort law (damages). The text in Hebrew/Aramaic and English translation is read and then discussed. Past knowledge of Talmud is useful, but not critical. Anyone interested in observing or studying with us is welcome. For questions contact Jerry Brem (jerrybrem@comcast.net).
