Megillah Reading & Minchah Purim Day Services:
Our Purim celebration continues! Join the CST community for morning services on Thursday, March 21 at 9:15 a.m. in the Chapel, featuring a full Megillah reading. We’ll gather in the afternoon for more fun, eating, drinking and learning. Please come in costume to add to the revelry!
4:00 p.m. Brief minchah (afternoon) service (Chapel)
4:15 p.m. Drink l’chaim (or two), enjoy a nosh and maybe join in a dance (downstairs rear Social Hall)
5:00 p.m. Purim text learning with Rabbi Rose
6:00 p.m. More celebrating…dancing…eating…drinking*
* Yes it is a mitzvah to drink on Purim. Some say we should drink a great deal, and others say we are supposed to just drink a little more than we usually would. We may NOT drink if we struggle with alcoholism or if alcohol poses a danger. Also, we may not get in a car if we have been drinking. Limited Uber and Lyft funds will be available if needed
