Hunger Banquet & Paper Plate Project

6:00 pm

September 13, 2017

September 13th  Wednesday, 6-8:30 social hall

Our Maasim Tovim committee and our Wednesday night program invites you to join us for the Hunger Banquet Presentation and the Paper Plate Project. After a short dinner and a meaningful presentation by our own Phil Cohen, a volunteer at the Oregon food Bank, we will connect and explore the effects of hunger in our community and Judaism’s obligation. Following, we hope to inspire you to create and decorate a Paper Plate with insights you have gained this evening. The paper plate display during High Holidays will bring attention and call to action to Hunger in our community.
