DESCRIPTION:Starting this month\, we’re undertaking this major electrical upgrade of our breaker panels so that they are up to UL-code and insurance standards. It’s a big job that has been carefully scheduled and will take place over a number of weeks. With the exception of a few days of office closures\, there should be no interruption in shul operations\, Shabbat services or Pipster Prep NW’s schedule. \n\n\n\nStaff will work from home on December 22\, 23\, 29\, and 30. The building will be closed to visitors. \n\n\n\nThis upgrade is more than wires and panels – it’s about safeguarding our building to protect what matters most: the people and traditions that make this synagogue our spiritual home. DESCRIPTION:We are once again participating in the JFCS Thanksgiving Food Drive. With the help of the community\, Jewish & Family Child Service will be able to provide a food box to 160 families – over 500 individuals – this Thanksgiving. Boxes will be delivered to families on Sunday\, November 23. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are collecting TURKEY GRAVY PACKETS (0.85 or 0.87 oz\, any brand). The goal is 270 total. These need not be kosher\, although if someone wants to provide kosher gravy (either a mix or prepared in a jar or carton) please contact Jemi. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDonations may be dropped off in the food barrel downstairs or in the shul office. Final day to donate is Wednesday\, November 19. You can also donate funds directly to JFCS online.

DESCRIPTION:Mensch Community is a community of families who participate in our Holiday and Shabbat Communities in addition to prioritizing approx. 3 Sunday mornings a month. Through the participation in all these community experiences\, kids and families are offered the opportunities to celebrate Shabbat and holidays both inside and outside of Shaarie Torah\, engage in acts of chesed / communal service in our local community\, as well as experience fun\, developmentally-appropriate Jewish learning together with age cohorts on Sunday mornings. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCommunity\, Coffee\, and Snacks 9:30am-10am.Learning session 10am-12pm.
