Join us for learning and celebration to welcome in Rabbi Oren with a very special Shabbat and Installation ceremony on October 29 and 30th. We are honored to be joined by Rabbi Bradley Shavit Artson, Vice President, American Jewish University, Abner & Roslyn Goldstine Dean’s Chair, Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies and Rabbi Cheryl Peretz, Associate Dean, Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies.

Our Shabbat service and the Installation Ceremony are open to the public and free. Registration for all in person event attendance is required. Sponsorship is not required for Shabbat Morning Services and Havdalah & Installation Ceremony. We greatly appreciate donations at our sponsorship levels or at a level of your choosing.
*All attendees for all events must be fully vaccinated if eligible and masked at all times in our building.*
Schedule of Events:

Friday:
– Shabbat Dinner at Shaarie Torah: Oct. 29, 6:30 pm, includes a special teaching by Rabbi Artson entitled, “Acquiring Torah: The Story of Rabbi Akiva”
*Sponsorship levels of $540 or above required to attend, space is limited.*
Saturday:
– Shabbat Morning Services: Oct. 30, 9:15 am
Free and open to the public; in person and livestreamed. Service includes a special teaching by Rabbi Bradley Artson entitled, “Character Counts: What Makes Someone A Disciple of Abraham?”
– Cocktail Reception with Keynote Speaker, 5:45 pm *For Sponsorship Levels of $180 or above*
– Havdalah and Installation Ceremony of Rabbi Gary Ezra Oren with our visiting Rabbis: 6:30 pm in our sanctuary. In person and livestreamed. Free and open to the public. Havdalah begins at 6:45 pm.
