B’ Mitzvah is a more inclusive term for moving from a Jewish child to becoming responsible in the Jewish community. It is more and more common for those who identify as female to become a Bat Mitzvah, those who identify as male to become a Bar Mitzvah, and those who identify differently to become a B’Mitzvah.
