Restoration at Sinai: tikkun leil shavuot

Sunday, May 16, 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm on zoom

Join us for our Tikkun Leil Shavuot, the practice of learning through the night to remain spiritually awake for the receiving of the Torah.

Teachers and topics include:
-Natan Meir, teaching on the Jewish magical incantation against the evil eye called “Shalosh Nashim” (Three Women)
-Chaim Schramm teaching on how the Jewish model of Tzedakah differs from the idea of giving in contemporary society
-Teaching from Rabbi Rose on “The Irreducible Dignity of the Other: The Torah in the Eyes of George Floyd.”

We will pause at 8:15 to light Yom Tov candles. CST’s learning will go to 11pm and you are invited to continue learning with The RA of the Conservative Movement’s sponsored program featuring scholars from across the country.
